The GHOST DOT 2500 is the circular transparent screen two and a half metres in diameter: 4.91 m² of surface, roughly 161,000 pixels. It is the range's second-largest diameter, and the one offering the best ratio of presence to installation constraint.

The diameter that fills a volume without saturating it

Three metres is large — it needs comfortable ceiling height and a seriously sized rigging point. Two and a half metres fits volumes where three would not, while keeping most of the effect: the disc stays clearly taller than a person, it structures the space, and you walk around it.

In a medium-height lobby, a mezzanine, a shopping gallery or an office atrium, it is often the right compromise — and it is decided with a tape measure, not a catalogue.

Viewing distance becomes realistic here

The 7.8125 mm vertical pitch needs 13.4 metres for the grid to disappear, and 26.9 metres for full detail resolution. From two and a half metres upward, the disc is naturally installed in volumes where that distance exists.

That is what separates this diameter from the small formats: here the image becomes an image again. You can run a structured motif, an animated brand identity, a texture that reads — not just a coloured halo.

What to plan for

Like every diameter beyond two metres, this format is an installation, not a fitting. Three things to handle together, at design stage and not on delivery.

Rigging and rotation. A disc hung from a single point turns with air movement. Use two points, or one with bottom stabilisation.

Cable routing. On an object seen through 360° it is part of the design. Power and signal are settled with the structure.

The rear face. A transparent screen has no back: from behind you see the mirrored image. A symmetrical motif copes, text does not.
