Description
The GHOST 2.6 is the densest transparent panel in the range: 147,456 pixels per square metre, or 384 × 384 dots on a one-metre cabinet. That is more than twice the density of a GHOST 3.9, and it is the only transparent model that holds up to close viewing.
The price is stated plainly: 40 % transparency, the lowest in the series. The more dots there are, the more surface the LED strips occupy, and the less you see through. At this density the screen reads as an almost solid surface from outside.
The 2.6 mm pitch and its distance
The actual pitch is 2.604 mm — 500 divided by 192. The grid stops being perceptible from 4.5 metres, and fine detail is fully resolved at 9.0 metres. That is two metres less than a GHOST 3.9: the difference between a screen watched from across the street and one people walk past at arm's length.
The heaviest model, and that is no accident
12.5 kg per square metre, against 10 on the 3.9 and 8.1 on the 3.9 – 7.8. LED density, the greater number of strips and the associated drive electronics all add weight. On an existing curtain wall, those extra two and a half kilos per square metre can tip a project into structural strengthening — it is the first figure to check before choosing this model over a wider pitch.
Construction
SMD1415 LEDs, 500 × 62.5 mm modules, 24 scan, 3,840 Hz refresh, 140° / 140° angle, 4,500 nits, consumption 240 W/m² average against an 800 W/m² peak, aluminium frame with front maintenance, −20 to +60 °C range.
When this is the right model
When the audience comes within six metres and the image must stay sharp: a shop window on a pedestrian street, a transparent showroom partition, a glazed divider in a lobby. If the viewing distance exceeds seven metres, the GHOST 3.9 gives ten more points of transparency for an image nobody will tell apart from this one. The GHOST 2.9 is the intermediate step, at 42 % transparency.
Technical Expertise
Use Cases
Shop window on a pedestrian street — passers-by are three or four metres away. It is the only configuration where a 2.6 mm pitch is fully justified on a transparent screen.
Transparent showroom partition — a luminous divider between two spaces, read close up from both sides, with a sharp image required.
Counter and reception area — detailed display at eye level, two or three metres away, where a wider pitch would look coarse.
Luxury boutique and brand corner — fine imagery required, lightness sought compared with a solid wall, without needing to see precisely what is behind.
Lobby information screen — dense text read close up, where a wide pitch forces characters too large for the amount of information.
Technical Tips
