The Vunit 3000 is not an LED video processor: it is a programmable central control processor with a modular card design. It drives every device in a room — screens, projectors, lighting, blinds, matrices, power — from a phone, tablet, PC or console, over infrared, relays, RS232/485, I/O and network.

NovaStar Vunit 3000 — technical analysis

It is an integration product, and it changes the nature of the deal. Selling an LED wall means selling a device; selling an LED wall plus a Vunit 3000 means taking on the whole room — screen, projection, lighting, blinds, sound, on one user interface. Competition in this segment is the proprietary AV control systems, not the LED panel makers.

Two things to check before quoting. NovaStar does not publish the chassis slot count: the configuration is validated card by card with the distributor. And the operating range is 0 °C to +45 °C, narrower than LED controllers — this is climate-controlled plant room equipment, not an outdoor cabinet device. The 45 dB(A) noise level is also worth considering in an occupied control room.
