Integrated LED Control Card - Novastar BR Series
Products in this category (10)
An integrated LED control card puts the AC/DC power supply and the receiving card on a single PCB. Novastar’s BR series is built on that principle: inside the cabinet, one board replaces the usual power-supply-plus-receiving-card pair, removing the wiring between them, cutting the connector count and therefore the number of failure points, and freeing up depth.
Pixelight carries ten references, from the BR203-N to the BR860 Pro, all fed from 90 to 264 Vac and 47 to 63 Hz. Three criteria drive the choice: available DC current, module connector type and image-processing level. Key points across the range:
- BR203-N, entry level: fixed 4.2 V output, 13 A, three HUB75 connectors, 384 x 256 at 60 Hz loading capacity and a thermal ceiling of +50 °C.
- BR462 Plus, the middle ground: 24 A, selectable 3.8 / 4.0 / 4.2 V, 512 x 512 at 60 Hz in 8-bit, and four floating connectors that absorb manufacturing tolerance and vibration.
- BR840 Pro, for 40-pin cabinets: eight JH 40-pin connectors, 32 A nominal and 36 A maximum, Image Booster, 22bit+, HDR10 and HLG, one-frame latency.
- BR860 Pro, top of the range: eight JH 60-pin connectors, 35 A nominal and 40 A maximum, up to 32 parallel RGB groups and multi-layer grayscale calibration.
Mechanical footprint decides the fit: 180 x 104 mm for the BR203-N, 492 x 166 mm for the BR860 Pro, shaped for long cabinets packed with modules. Pro models run from -20 to +70 °C with derating above 50 °C. For a cabinet manufacturer or an integrator building a custom chassis, the BR series shortens the bill of materials, the assembly line and the service call: one board to stock, wire and swap instead of two.
